Formation “A” nests on a cone of igneous rock, with a bed of clear quartz and around a cluster of honey-colored citrine. The peaks of the crystal are accented with bits of dark orange, showing where the iron impurities are concentrated.
Formation “B” showcases a plane of dark orange crystals, with spots of gold shining through. From the side, you can see the layer of clear quartz and then igneous rock that complete the formation.
